2021/2022 SRC COMMISSIONS BUS SHELTER FOR UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

The Student's Representative Council (SRC) has commissioned a newly built Bus Stop Shelter at the entrance of the Miotso Campus of the University on Monday 14th February 2022 to serve the University Community. The project which was financed by the SRC was the first in other similar student-focused projects the 2021/2022 team plans to execute.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Daniel Nii Korley Botchway, emphasized the importance of the project for the University community, especially fot the student body who he believes will be more comfortable when they commute to and from campus. He also thanked the Student Affairs Committee for approving the construction of Bus Stop project.

The event was graced by Dr. Gloria Dzeha - Dean of Students, Rev. Dr. Godson Ahiabor and Rev Jean-Carl Ainoo - Assistant Chaplain; all members of the Student Affairs Committee.

In attendance at the event was Daniel Nii Korley Botchway - SRC President, Victor Worlali Ayimey - SRC Vice President, Irene Oforiwaa Gyan - SRC General Secretary, Philip Asamoah - SRC Treasurer, and Philomena Abrokwah - SRC Women's Commissioner.

The Dean of Students also expressed her joy at the fact that the SRC had followed through to make the project a reality. She pledged to further support the SRC to do more of such projects in the future.

Rev. Jean-Carl Ainoo prayed and dedicated the project into the Lords hands.
