MR RAPHAEL GOWANS-A PROUD CENTRAL UNIVERSITY ALUMN, DISTINGUISHED BANKER

Raphael Gowans CU 2014 alumni, has led to create more convenience for clients especially the youth and the young affluent to shop online using Standard Chartered Mobile. He is driving ecommerce and prosperity through a lifestyle of virtual shop to be implemented on Standard Chartered Mobile. 

The result of his efforts has significantly contributed to growth/liquidity for both SC and the it’s clients like Shoprite, Kingdom Books, Masco Foods(KFC) and other billers. 
Raphael is a service icon and a millennial who continuously seeks for convenience  for both clients and staff. We are so proud of you! Keep reaching beyond the stars!

MEET FAFITA- AN ALUMN COMBINING BANKING AND MUSIC

 
Banker, Consultant, Training Coach, Gospel singer and Song writer!
 
Born as Fafa Hammond in the south of France, Fafita spent parts of her childhood in Nigeria before moving to Ghana. 
 
From St. Mary’s Secondary School, she acquired her first degree in Human Resource Management at the Central University School of Business Administration (1999 - 2003) While in Central University, Fafita co-founded the Central University Mass Choir and was its first Deputy Music Director. She was also the Assistant Music Director for Central University Main Choir and a Member of the SRC Editorial Board. Fafa was the recipient of CU Entrepreneurship Award for Pretty Petals, her campus based Decor Company.
 
She has an MBA in marketing from GIMPA, a certified member of the Chartered Institute of bankers Ghana as well as several other business related professional certificates. 
 
Employment History
Fafa Hammond has been in Banking for fourteen years, managing urban and sub-urban Branches. As one of the youngest Branch Managers, she gained recognition when she started a branch in the Volta region from scratch, recording a ground breaking customer outreach of over 900 accounts within a month and over 7,000 within 4 years. 

As Partner and Lead Consultant at The Training Consortium, she offers training and professional grooming for young people. Fafa also serves on the board of Hammond Africa and Adjei Fordjour Foundation.
 
 
Ministry Experience
 
For over 5 years, Fafita was a Backup Vocalist for the legendary Danny Nettey as well as other leading Ghanaian and International artistes. She managed her church choir for over a Decade.
She founded the Sogakope Community Mass choir (first ever mass choir in the community), ministered for Bishop Dag Heward Heward-Mills later started her music ministry.
 
The lighter side...
In her free time Fafita loves to cook, do home decor, write articles and have a good laugh over comedy. She loves to read! Yep she's a book worm too and the bible is definitely at the top of her best sellers!
 
Fafita released her first 2018 single from her maiden album “Believe and Confess” - An exciting song which featured a full orchestra. She is set to release her second single Onyame nyae3 featuring Prince Hakeem Matthews and the Press On Kids

Dede  Kafui  Odamtten  has  over  26  years  work  experience in the Insurance and banking Industries as well as Management Consultancy. She is  currently  the Lead 
Consultant for Professional Edge, a human capital development organization.She  was  the  Head  of   Marketing  &   Mass  Affluent   at   Quality  Insurance
Company   Ltd and   also worked as the Head of Sales  &   Marketing  at International Commercial  Bank. Prior  to  this,  she  worked  at  Enterprise  life Assurance   Company
as  a Sales  Manager  as  well  as  worked  as  a  Senior  Sales  &  Marketing  Officer  at Unique  Insurance  Company  Ltd. She  began  her  employment  career at the State
Insurance Company Ltd.
Dede is a result oriented and experienced Professional who is passionate about her work  and  effective  at  what  she  does.  She  has  excellent  interpersonal  and 
communication  skills  as  well  as  has  great  passion  for  training,  mentoring  andcoaching.  she  has  successfully  led  various  teams  in  Sales  &  Marketing,  Client 
Service, Corporate Communications and Industrial relations in the  various  places she has worked. Furthermore, she has also mentored several young people who are 
doing well in the corporate space. She  holds a professional Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Institute of  Directors-Ghana,  an  MBA  in  Business  Administration  –  Marketing  option  from the Central    University,  Graduate   Scho ol   as   we ll   as  a  De g re e   in   Business Administration (Marketing option)  from the same university. Additionally, she has 
attended  several  professional  courses  in  leadership,  Insurance,  Banking  and Industrial relations that  have enriched  her  life.  She is  also  a member of CIMG  –
Ghana and the Institute of Directors Ghana. She is married and leaves in Accra with her family. She is the Author of the book Exce l Professionally
