Business Development Centre (BDC)

The Business Development Center

The Business Development Center was established in the year 2002 with the aim of creating a strong consultancy wing for the University. Its vision is to create a Center of professional excellence for nurturing, developing and sustaining value for the University. In pursuit of this vision, the Center over the years has been positioned to provide tuition for various professional programs. Presently, the Center is a leading study Center for the Institute of Commercial Management (UK) programs in Business studies, Marketing, Human Resources, Journalism and Media Studies, Accounting and Finance, and Professional Computing and Information Processing.

The Center also runs pre-University programs such as the Mature Access Course for prospective applicants to the University who are twenty five years and above and also organizes Remedial classes for various subjects of the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).

The Business Development Center is also a center of excellence for Executive Certificate programs specifically designed for the working class and professionals in industry to improve their efficiency in work output.
